Spring Colors of the Western Balkans — 8 Day Tour
8 Days, Private JourneyAn 8-day private spring journey through Montenegro and Kosovo — from the fortified stone streets of Kotor, through the still-thawing Black Lake of Durmitor and the primeval forest of Biogradska Gora, to Bogë's mountain quiet and the Ottoman quarter of Prizren.
There is a version of the Western Balkans that only reveals itself once the snow melts and the wildflowers arrive. The trails of Durmitor and Biogradska Gora reopen beneath fresh green canopy. The old stone streets of Kotor and Prizren wake from winter into warm sunshine, still quiet before the summer crowds. This is spring in the Balkans — wild, green, and unhurried.
Spring Colors of the Western Balkans is an 8-day private journey through three countries, built for travelers drawn to genuine wilderness and centuries of history in equal measure. Over the course of this tour, you will hike beside a glacial lake still thawing from winter, wander the fortified stone streets of Kotor and the Ottoman quarter of Prizren, and taste wine from a family-run vineyard in the hills of Mirditë. Every detail — the vehicle, the guide, the hotel, the table you sit at for dinner — has been chosen to the same standard: quietly excellent, never generic.

Why This Journey
What Makes This Journey Different
A private journey, start to finish
You travel in a premium vehicle (Audi A8, Mercedes S-Class, or Mercedes V-Class, depending on group size) with your own licensed, multilingual guide-driver — never merged into a larger coach group, never on someone else's schedule.
Wild nature and old stone, in equal measure.
Genuine, undeveloped wilderness — Durmitor and Biogradska Gora — alongside centuries-old towns that have barely changed, from Kotor's Venetian walls to Prizren's Ottoman quarter.
Genuine culinary experiences, not just meals.
A farm-to-table lunch at Mrizi i Zanave, a traditional dinner in Kolašin, a hands-on taste of vezhki me shpatë and fli in Prizren, and a wine tasting at a family-run vineyard in Mirditë on the way back to Tirana.
Handled with care, down to the smallest logistics
Your first day is intentionally free of touring — a chance to rest after your flight before the journey begins in earnest the following morning. Every hotel is 4-5★ or a carefully chosen boutique property.
