Autumn Colors of Albania– 11 Day Tour
11 Days, Private JourneyAn 11-day private journey across the full length of Albania — the Albanian Alps and the Blue Eye spring, the wild Vjosa Valley, two UNESCO World Heritage towns, and the shores of Lake Ohrid.
There is a moment, somewhere between late September and November, when Albania quietly becomes one of the most beautiful and least-discovered countries in Europe. The beech forests of the Albanian Alps turn to copper and gold. The Vjosa — the last wild river in Europe — runs low and clear through a valley lined with autumn color. The vineyards around Berat ripen for harvest, and the crowds of summer have gone home. What remains is a country at its most authentic — unhurried, richly colored, and ready to be explored properly, from its northern mountains to its southern valleys.
Autumn Colors of Albania is an 11-day private journey across the full length of the country, designed for travelers who want more than a checklist of landmarks. Over the course of this tour, you will cross the Albanian Alps and stand before the Blue Eye spring, walk the ancient stone streets of two UNESCO World Heritage towns, follow the Vjosa Valley to a natural thermal bath fed by the mountains, and taste a glass of rakia warmed with honey and cinnamon in the highlands of Korçë. Every detail — the vehicle, the guide, the hotel, the table you sit at for dinner — has been chosen to the same standard: quietly excellent, never generic.

Why This Journey
What Makes This Journey Different
A private journey, start to finish
You travel in a premium vehicle (Audi A8, Mercedes S-Class, or Mercedes V-Class, depending on group size) with your own licensed, multilingual guide-driver — never merged into a larger coach group, never on someone else's schedule.
The whole country, thoughtfully connected
From the fortified hilltop of Krujë to the Albanian Alps, from the shores of Lake Ohrid to the wild Vjosa Valley, from the UNESCO towns of Gjirokastër and Berat to the hidden lakes of Belsh — this route is built to give you a genuine sense of Albania's full diversity, north to south.
Genuine culinary experiences, not just meals
A farm-to-table lunch at Mrizi i Zanave. Traditional kernacka and rakia warmed with honey and cinnamon in the highlands of Korçë. A lunch of authentic Gjirokastër cuisine in a traditional restaurant. A wine tasting and lunch at one of Albania's finest agritourism estates near Berat. A relaxed craft beer tasting paired with local dishes on your final evening in Tirana — or, for those who prefer, a full traditional dinner instead. No compromise on quality either way.
Handled with care, down to the smallest logistics
Your first day is intentionally free of touring — a chance to rest after your flight before the journey begins in earnest the following morning. Every hotel is 4-5★ or a carefully chosen boutique property.
